Urbanspace's New Midtown Food Hall Opens With 15 Vendors

The new West 52nd Street food hall features vendors such as Eisenberg's, Black Iron Burger and a spinoff of ramen spot TabeTomo.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Urbanspace, the company behind many of New York City's seasonal markets and food halls, opened its newest location in Midtown Manhattan featuring 15 different food and beverage vendors.

The new permanent food hall, called Urbanspace West 52nd, is located at 152 W. 52 St. between Sixth and Seventh avenues. The location is Urbanspace's fourth year-round location in addition to food halls near Grand Central, Times Square and 570 Lexington Avenue.

Urbanspace West 52nd's roster of vendors includes New York City staples such as Eisenberg's Sandwich Shop, Roberta’s, Balck Iron Burger and a spin off of beloved ramen spot TabeTomo called TomoTomo.

"This new opening could not have been possible without the continued support of our loyal Urbanspace customers. We believe this new space will cultivate an environment where community can flourish," Eldon Scott, President of Urbanspace, said in a statement. "We’re thrilled to continue partnering with aspiring restaurateurs, chef-entrepreneurs, and creators to introduce new and established concepts to our visitors."

Many of the vendors leasing spots at Urbanspace's new food hall are first-time tenants of the company, an Urbanspace spokesperson said.

Urbanspace West 52nd features some communal seating where customers can sit down to eat their meals and a lofted mezzanine. The location will also serve as the company's pilot for a "Green New Market" initiative to use reusable and compostable items with the goal of cutting down on waste and energy usage.

  • Lolo’s Chicken Shack (Caribbean);
  • Partners Coffee (cafe);
  • Pita Yeero (Greek);
  • Plant Junkie (vegan);
  • Roberta’s (pizza);
  • TomoTomo (ramen & Japanese small plates;
  • Seamore’s (seafood and full bar).
