MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The NYPD's hate crime task force is trying to identify a man who assaulted a woman and told her to leave the country inside the Port Authority Bus Terminal, police told Patch.
A 41-year-old woman was shopping in the Duane Reade inside the bus terminal on Monday, Aug.29, when she was approached by an unknown man, police told Patch. The man then told the woman she should leave the country and struck her in the face, police said. Police released photos of the suspect (seen above) on Tuesday.
The woman suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention, police told Patch. The NYPD hate crime task force is leading the investigation into the assault, police said.
