2020 Vote For Kids Survey Released

Westchester Children's Association: Keep Issues That Impact Kids In Mind When You Vote.

Westchester Children’s Association has released the results of their 2020 Vote for Kids survey. The campaign is an initiative by this independent, nonpartisan organization that aims to elevate Westchester’s children and youth to the top of the public agenda among candidates, elected officials, media and the general public during the upcoming elections. Click here for an interactive map - find your location and click to see where the candidate running for office in your district stands on the issues.

As a critical part of the campaign, candidates running for election in the New York State Senate and Assembly were invited to answer questions about issues affecting Westchester’s children and youth. Only those candidates running in the general election and in districts that encompass municipalities in Westchester County were surveyed.
This is a non-partisan effort; Westchester Children's Association does not support or oppose any candidate for public office. They understand that voters do and should make decisions based on a variety of qualifications that go beyond responses to any one questionnaire.
With children representing 22.4% of the county’s population and 100% of its future, it’s essential to make sure that candidates address significant issues that affect the state’s and the nation’s children.
Vote for Kids provides tools to help you – as a child advocate, parent, caretaker or community member – keep children’s issues at the forefront of this election cycle. Find out what the candidates have to say about children and youth, become a more educated voter, and help ensure that children’s issues are not neglected.
