25 Days Of Holiday Volunteering — Day 5: Pop-Up Shop Volunteers

MOUNT VERNON, NY — 'Tis the season for giving back to your community. There are a number of ways that you and your family can help out and help others.

Every day through Christmas, Patch will be highlighting a way you can provide compassion and resources to those in need.

Volunteer New York! makes it easy to find ways to help — through donations, supporting nonprofits and even volunteering at home.

Today's opportunity is Pop-Up Shop Volunteers. LIFE Progressive Services Group, Inc., needs volunteers to help its pop-up shop raise funds for its re-entry program. Volunteers will assist with everything from setting up the shop to monitoring the sale of clothing, electronics and body and haircare products.
