UPDATE: Delays Due to Crash on the Bronx River Parkway Cleared

UPDATE 9:19 a.m.: State transportation officials announced the traffic tie-up dissipated as rush hour came to an end.

State transportation officials report heavy delays at 7:30 am on the Bronx River Parkway southbound from the Cross County Parkway to the Bronx Zoo exit due to a multi-vehicle accident.

The disruption could last two hours, they said.
