Four Mount Vernon Candidates Booted From September Primary Ballot

The candidates were removed by a court order amid allegations of fraudulent petitions, Fios1 News reports.

MOUNT VERNON, NY - Four candidates who are running for comptroller and city council seats in Mount Vernon have been removed from the September Democratic primary ballot amid allegations of fraudulent submission of petition signatures, according to Fios1 News.

The removal was ordered by a New York State Supreme Court judge, Fios1 news reported.
