Limited Walk-In Vaccines Now At Montefiore Mount Vernon Clinic

Montefiore in Mount Vernon has extended a pop-up clinic offering the first dose of Moderna coronavirus vaccine for city residents.

MOUNT VERNON, NY — The city of Mount Vernon will offer a no-appointment-needed, first dose Moderna coronavirus vaccine on Tuesday and Wednesday at a pop-up mass vaccination clinic at Montefiore Hospital.

The clinic will be open on April 27-28, starting at 8:30 a.m. There are a limited number of doses of the vaccine available.

First doses of the Moderna vaccine are available to all community members ages 18 and above. The second doses will be scheduled on-site after the first dose of the vaccine is given.

Although walk-in appointments are available, Mount Vernon workers and residents are encouraged to pre-register here to reduce time spent waiting in line and filling out forms.

The vaccines will be available at Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital clinic at 12 North 7th Avenue until 5 p.m. daily or until supplies run out.

A maximum of 200 doses of the Moderna coronavirus vaccine will be available each day. Appointments are not required; however, priority will be given to those residents who sign up in advance online.
