Missing Buffalo College Student May Be In Hudson Valley: Police

Yonkers police are asking for the public's help finding 19-year-old Buffalo State college student, Saniyya Dennis.

YONKERS, NY — Police are asking for the public's help locating a missing 19-year-old Buffalo State college student who may be in the Yonkers area, according to a Missing Person notice posted by Yonkers Police Department Tuesday afternoon.

Saniyya Dennis was last seen leaving her dorm around 11 p.m. on April 24. Her phone was later traced to Niagara Falls State Park a few hours later around 1 a.m. Police believe she may now be in the Hudson Valley.

Investigators are circulating a recent photograph of Dennis who is described as Black, 5'3'' and weighing approximately 125 pounds.

The missing student's family is offering a $10,000 reward for information that helps to locate her.

The Yonkers Police Department is asking anyone with information about the disappearance of Saniyya Dennis to contact investigators at 914-377-7900.
