Principal Ordered Underling To Take, Save Explicit Pics: Lawsuit

YONKERS, NY — A Yonkers principal used her position to hide an extra-marital affair, repeatedly subjecting one school employee to sexually explicit images and risqué messages in the process, according to a federal lawsuit.

In court documents, Giselle Vasquez says she was secretary for Principal Evelina Medina at Robert Dodson Elementary School when her job turned into something unexpected and unseemly. Vasquez is suing for damages in federal court alleging that she endured sexual harassment by a number of school officials and was retaliated against when she brought her concerns to Medina’s bosses.

The lawsuit accuses the former school administrator of a laundry list of wildly inappropriate workplace behavior. Explosive allegations in the court filings include a number of troubling incidents:

• Medina texted Vasquez a photo of a man lying in bed in his underwear and told her to save it.
• Mediana exposed her buttocks in thong underwear and asked Vasquez to take a picture.
• Medina texted the explicit photos to Vasquez and asked her to help her edit them.
• Medina texted Vasquez a photo of a man lying in bed holding his exposed erect penis.
• Medina instructed Vasquez to save the photo of the man’s penis for her.
• Medina ordered Vasquez to book a hotel room for her using Vasquez’s own debit card.
• Medina gave Vasquez approximately $50 and told Vasquez to buy black lingerie.
• Medina forcefully grabbed Vasquez by the neck and throat to simulate rough sex.
• Medina repeatedly showed Vasquez explicit messages between Medina and her lover.

The court records contain photographic evidence supporting a number of the allegations, including graphic images of the principal posing for a photograph with her pants around her ankles and screen grabs of explicit text messages. Some of these images have been published by media outlets around the world, including the Daily Mail and the New York Post.

“My professionalism exceeds the expectations of that facility,” Vasquez told the NY Post's Kathianne Boniello and Dean Balsamini earlier this month. “To this day I can’t believe that this happened to me. I didn’t see it coming. It’s disturbing. I’m disgusted and embarrassed.”
