Mount Vernon held its annual turkey giveaway at City Hall.
Mayor Thomas and Deputy Comm. Mobley-Johnson of the Office of Emergency Management gave away 400 turkeys to Mount Vernon’s neediest families.
Mayor Thomas also delivered 25 turkeys to the Inwood Senior Housing and personally delivered one to long time resident Laura Batts.
