Wave Hill Announces Summer Garden Activities

Mount Vernon is encouraged to attend the Summer Gardening and Woodworking Workshops at Wave Hill in June.

Summer brings a whole new season of gardening and woodworking workshops to Wave Hill! Design and plant your own gorgeous vertical garden in a wood pallet at a Gardening Workshop, or attend a Demo to learn the tricks of the trade for cultivating lavender from one of Wave Hill’s own Gardeners. Urban gardeners can build their own potting bench at a Woodworking Workshop. Get ready for a summer of growing green!

Register, where required, online here or onsite at the Perkins Visitor Center.

From Wood Pallets to Plant Palettes, SAT, June 4, 10AM-12PM Last summer, the Pergola featured several gorgeously planted wood pallets.
