3 Arrests After Shooting At Spring Valley Transportation Center
A Haverstraw teenager and two Spring Valley residents are under arrest.
SPRING VALLEY, NY — Spring Valley police have made three arrests in the case of a man found shot at the Transportation Center on Thursday. Two are teenagers. All were charged with Attempted Murder and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
Tarique Wilson, 23, a village resident, was located in Spring Valley.
A 17-year-old from Haverstraw was located by Haverstraw and Spring Valley police officers in the Village of Haverstraw. At the time of his arrest he was in possession of an loaded illegal handgun, police alleged.

A 17-year-old girl from Spring Valley was also arrested.
The shooting took place just before 2 p.m. Feb. 27. After receiving 911 calls about gunshots, police found a 30-year-old at 1 Municipal Plaza with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The Transportation Center had also been hit by gunfire.

Officers along with medical staff from the Rockland Paramedic Services and Spring Hill Ambulance rendered first aid to the victim at the scene. He was transported to Westchester Medical Center by ambulance where he underwent emergency surgery. It appears at this time that the Transportation Center building was also hit by gunfire.
