Beth Hendricks​ Lost 38 Pounds At Peak Physique

Nanuet, N.Y. (July 1st, 2019) – Beth Hendricks' weight loss journey began last year following a personal life changing event. "In addition, I had some medical issues. I had been diagnosed with hypertension. I was pre-diabetic, and had high cholesterol. I was out of shape. My health was deteriorating, and I wanted to do something to get back on the right track. My doctor had suggested to me that a personal health and wellness plan would benefit me. Some years prior, I had a partial thyroidectomy, which made losing weight difficult for me" said Beth Hendricks.

1) Why did you choose Peak Physique Personal Training, Bootcamp and Boxing?

I chose Peak Physique because I had been getting alerts from them about various special challenges and I decided to try a 28 day hot mommy challenge along with my daughter.

2) How many pounds did you lose so far? How long did it take?

One year later, I have lost 38 pounds.

3) How did Peak Physique help you meet your weight loss goal?

Peak Physique helped me to lose the weight with their outstanding bootcamp and boxing classes. Coaches give phenomenal classes, and they check in with you constantly to insure that you will have success. During a personal consultation, I was given a nutritional plan to follow to assist me with weight loss and fitness.

4) How often did you work out at Peak Physique?

I work out six days a week. I try to double my classes a few times a week to challenge myself.

5) What is your favorite form of exercise to do and why?

My favorite classes are the boxing classes. I enjoy hitting the heavy bags, and have discovered that I have a decent right hook.

6) Have you had to deal with any injuries along the way?

I have had some challenges with my back from time to time as a result of a sciatic nerve issue prior to joining the gym, but nothing that has kept me out of the gym.

7) What did you change in your diet?

My diet has changed since joining Peak. I have cut out red meats and pasta. I eat a lot of grilled chicken, fish, and turkey.

8) How did you manage to integrate this healthy lifestyle into your life?

Once I learned how to eat smaller meals more frequently throughout the day, it became easier to integrate my new nutritional plan into my lifestyle. It takes some planning, but the benefits are fantastic.

9) What is the biggest struggle: food, exercise, temptation?

Some of my biggest nutritional challenges are missing certain foods like beef ribs and macaroni and cheese.

10) What motivates you to continue with this lifestyle?

My results are my greatest inspiration to continue. I feel great, and enjoy more natural energy than I have had in years.

11) What are your goals for the future?

I plan to continue working on my fitness and strength. I am on blood pressure medication that has been cut in half since joining Peak. I want to have it discontinued altogether.


12) What is your best piece of advice for those just starting their weight loss journey?

For anyone starting out on a fitness journey, I would suggest trying a challenge at Peak Physique.
