Bridge Work To Close Route 45

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — Route 45 between Maple Avenue and Columbus Avenue in Ramapo is expected to be closed for construction work starting Monday.

Crews will be working on bridge construction activities, weather permitting.

The closure will start at 9 a.m. on July 23 and is expected to last until 4 p.m. Aug, 28.

Follow the posted detour and expect delays.

Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
