Coronavirus: Rockland Schools Start Free/Reduced Price Meal Plans

Here are details about the alternatives for the breakfasts and lunches on which many students rely.

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY — Planning began immediately in Rockland's school districts for alternatives to their free-and-reduced-price lunch programs after schools across New York state were closed to help slow the spread of the new coronavirus.

Information has been compiled from each school district's website as of March 16. The work is being done by Rockland County Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster, coordinated by the United Way of Rockland. That's a coalition that collaboratively plans, coordinates, and implements disaster/emergency preparedness and response.
