Early Look At Nanuet's Weekend While We All Watch Florence
There are changes to the regional forecast. Here's the latest.

NANUET, NY — Before we get to the weekend, rain and thunderstorms and gloomy skies will dominate through Thursday. Still, we're fortunate that powerful Hurricane Florence will likely have minimal to no impacts in the Hudson Valley.
Unfortunately for the Carolinas, the hurricane is expected to make landfall on Thursday and then stall, producing more than 20 inches of rain along with gale-force winds and storm surges.
What we will likely experience as Florence approaches the coast, says the National Weather Service: high surf and a risk of rip currents.

Otherwise, the NWS says:
Cloudy and rainy conditions persist Tuesday as a warm front slowly moves through the area. An isolated rumble of thunder will be possible as well. With ample cloud cover and a cool onshore flow, temperatures will remain below climatological normals in the mid to upper 70s.
Fog then develops again, with humidity steadily increasing as the warm front moves to our north. Chances of showers and thunderstorms persist into Wednesday as a cold front quickly follows and stalls across the area.
Here's the current forecast through the weekend from the NWS for Rockland County:
