Connor Corish Foundation Annual Fundraiser

ANNUAL FUNDRAISER FOR THE CONNOR CORISH MEMORIAL FUND TO TAKE PLACE ON MARCH 9

The Annual Fundraiser for the Connor Corish Memorial Fund will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Elks Club in Nanuet at 7:00pm. The event was created in 2009 to raise funds for scholarships given to area students in honor of Connor Corish who was only 15 when he was struck and killed by a train in 2008. Connor was a freshman at Don Bosco Prepatory High School in Bergen County at the time and a resident of Nanuet. Therefore one scholarship is given each year to an 8th grade student from Rockland County or Bergen County seeking to enter Don Bosco and one scholarship is given to a Nanuet High School Senior who has been accepted at a college or university. To date ten area students have been awarded scholarships.

The event on March 9th will take place at the Elks Club in Nanuet and the donation for the evening is $60 per person which includes dinner, drinks and dancing. The evening will also include a live auction with tickets to the Superbowl for 2014 at Giant’s Stadium, a weekend in New York City with Broadway show tickets, dinner at the Statler Grill and overnight stay at the Affinia Hotel, Knicks, Knickerbockers, Rangers, Nets, Devils, Mets and Yankees Tickets, a foursome at Minisceongo Golf Club and Manhattan Woods Country Club, and much more.
