Fun Run for Fitness, Fundraiser: Nanuet Black and Gold

Don't miss the My School Color Run May 8.

Nanuet Black and Gold wants you to come out and walk, jog, or run your way toward a healthier life while raising funds for their club.

The club is introducing an event called My School Color Run. The My School Color Run programs aims to go beyond traditional fund raising. Rather than sell goods, this program aims to engage the entire student body in a fitness initiative that aims to instill a life-long healthy way of living.

It also looks like a lot of fun.

This is an untimed fun run. Walking, jogging or running, participants will pass through several color stations throughout the course and end with a color toss.

“We’re extremely excited about the launch of the My School Color Run Program at our school," said Patty DeSapio. “We’re looking forward to involving everyone in a fun and healthy program. We want to engage the entire community and encourage local businesses and individual community members to get involved.”
