Funeral Mass is March 31 for Patricia Lennon

Patricia Lennon, 81, of Nanuet, beloved mother and friend and family to many, died at home on Friday, March 27, 2015 after battling cancer for several months. She had been, for the last several months, surrounded by family.

Patricia was born in Manhattan to Margaret and James Gallagher and had two older brothers and a younger sister. After working for several years for the phone company, Patricia married Daniel Lennon and raised a family of six children in the Bronx, and later, in Nanuet.

Patricia is predeceased by husband, Daniel and sister Barbara, and is survived by her older brothers, James and Thomas; her children, Barbara, Claire, Susie, Danny, Margaret and Robert; her grandchildren, Barbara, Paul, Mary, Alexandria, Eliza, John, Jim, James, Freddie, Catherine, Shannon, Ben, Semra, Danny, Jamie, Joey, Dash and Ephraim; and her great-grandchildren, Christopher, Colleen and Danielle.

Patricia spent her life caring for her family and made all those around her feel loved. She will be greatly missed by many.

The family will receive friends on Monday 2-4 pm and 7-9 p.m. at The Michael J. Higgins FH, 321 South Main Street, New City, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered Tuesday 10am at St. Anthony’s Shrine 36 West Nyack Road Nanuet, NY. Entombment to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery Nanuet, NY.

In lieu of flowers, family has requested that donations be made to the United Hospice of Rockland, 11 Stokum Lane, New City, NY 10956.
