International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth, the founder of modern nursing.

The 2017 theme is "Nurses: A Voice to Lead, Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals".
The International Nurses Day 2017 theme raises awareness both among the nursing profession and the general population and policy makers of what the SDGs are and why they matter. This year’s campaign aims to give to all the chance to contribute at their own level and recognize the efforts they already make every day to achieve these goals (ICN, 2017).

WCFR would like to take this opportunity to salute all of YOU: NURSES.

Worldwide Community First Responder (WCFR) is a 501(C)(3) non-profit/charitable organization with a mission “to prevent deaths worldwide through education and training”. WCFR offers two main services: WCFR Health Education and WCFR Training Program.
