International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth, the founder of modern nursing.

The 2019 theme is "Nurses: A Voice to Lead, Health for All".
The International Nurses Day 2019 theme encourages all nurses to get involved with the celebrations and raise their voices to show colleagues, patients, the public and politicians just how important nursing is for the health of individuals, families and communities (ICN, 2019).

WCFR would like to take this opportunity to salute all of YOU: NURSES.
