Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Assault With A Ford Explorer
The victim was taken to the hospital and the driver faces felony and misdemeanor charges.
TUXEDO, NY — A Clarkstown resident is accused of injuring another man with his SUV during an argument Tuesday in Orange County.
The report came in to New York state police as a hit-and-run on Village Road in Tuxedo.
Troopers said they were told by a witness that Dylan Macrino, 24, was involved in an altercation with another man which was verbal until Macrino struck the other with his 2018 Ford Explorer and left.

Town of Tuxedo EMS treated the injured man and transported him to Good Samaritan Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Police said Macrino came to the state police barracks in Monroe to be interviewed. Following the interview, he was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd degree (felony), Criminal Mischief 4th degree and Reckless Driving, both misdemeanors.

Macrino was sent to Orange County Jail on $1,000 cash bail, $7,000 bond, or $35,000 partially secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Tuxedo Court Aug. 27.
