Nanuet, N.Y. (May 20, 2019) – Jennifer Siegenthaler has been married to her best friend for 24 years, and she is a busy mom of three awesome kids, Billy age 21, Brandon almost 18 and Brielle will be 11. "My family has always come first. My excuses became greater as to why there was never time to work out and take care of myself. I was eating candy, cookies and chips. There were no limits and I was out of control. I was at my heaviest and not happy with myself. I refused to buy the next size up and I decided in July 2018 that it was my time. I was so disgusted with the way I looked and felt. My clothes were tight and I had to wear flowy tops to hide my growing belly. It was time to do something for myself. I contacted Eva on Facebook and I told her after summer vacation was over, I was coming in. By speaking with her, it held me accountable to show up. On memorial day, I went into Peak for my consultation and haven't looked back" said Jennifer Siegenthaler.

1) Why did you choose Peak Physique Personal Training, Bootcamp and Boxing?

I chose Peak Physique after I saw Facebook posts and live videos on my feed daily. I watched clients transformations for a year before I decided to sign up and take the 28 day challenge. I saw what I wanted for myself and I was motivated to get results.

2) How many pounds did you lose so far? How long did it take?

I lost 25 pounds and leaned down in 6 months with Peak.

3) How did Peak Physique help you meet your weight loss goal?

I was a sugar addict. Peak helped me ditch my cravings and start eating real food. Once I took my first class, I was hooked. I followed the meal plan and the weight and the inches were coming off.

4) How often did you work out at Peak Physique?

I work out at Peak 5 days a week. I do 5am classes most days or the 9:15/10:15am class.

5) What is your favorite form of exercise to do and why?

Although I fell in love with kickboxing, I really love the weight training classes. I have not had the same class routine more than once since I have started. Every day is new! Keeps it very exciting. Or should I say scary!! LOL

6) What did you change in your diet?

I changed everything in my diet. I added more protein into my diet and I eat every two to three hours. My body is trained and I know exactly when it is time to eat. I no longer crave all the sugar and junk food that I was eating before. I eat to fuel my body to help get me through my workouts, build muscle and lean down. The plan works if you follow it.

7) Do you take any supplements?

I use herbal life tea and beverage mix in the mornings as well as BCAA's. Afrer the 5am class, my go to is a protein drink. Then the rest of the day, I eat my proteins instead of drinking them.

8) How did you manage to integrate this healthy lifestyle into your life?

In order for me to get to the gym 5 days a week and totally make the time for myself, I had to set my alarm clock for 4am. Going at this time gives me the peace of mind I need. The hour is all about ME!! No one needs me or my attention that early. So I get up, get dressed and give myself the gift of caring for myself. Guilt free!! Ask me 6 months ago if I would get up at 4am to go to the gym and I would have told you, you were out of your mind.

9) What is the biggest struggle: food, exercise, temptation?

My biggest struggle is all the time we spend as a family on the go. I need to be prepared and make the best choices possible to keep up with my healthy eating and fitness goals. The temptations are always there and I have learned how to find a healthy balance. This has kept me from binge eating and crashing.

10) What motivates you to continue with this lifestyle?

What motivates me to continue this lifestyle is how I feel. I am not tired all day long and I have a lot of energy. The changes in my body that I see make me crave more. I have more confidence in myself and that feels great. For so long, I was unhappy with the woman staring back at me. One of the biggest motivators for me is the awesome people that I have met in my classes and the coaches! We all lift each other up and have fun together too! This April a group of Peak Freaks did the Spartan race together.

11) What are your goals for the future?

My goals for the future are to continue to lean down while building muscle, continue to take care of myself, continue to have fun and be a positive role model for my kids. I want to be the best example I can be for them! Helping others in class too is also very rewarding for me.

12) What is your best piece of advice for those just starting their weight loss journey?

The best piece of advice that I can share with those just starting is this....Believe in yourself and all that you are capable of. There will be classes that push you to your limits. Don't give up! You will make it through and become stronger with every class you take. Once you get the mindset in check, there will be no stopping you. You are worthy and deserve to be the best version of yourself. Be proud of yourself every step of your journey. Don't beat yourself up along the way. We all slip up and its OK. Be accountable for all your actions and move forward. And most of all, have fun, meet new friends and love yourself!!

"I would like to thank Jennifer Siegenthaler for sharing her weight loss journey. I am currently on my weight loss journey, and have lost 30 lbs in 17 weeks at Peak Physique. I am so excited to finally meet my weight loss goals with the help of Steve and Eva Eckert, and the awesome coaches here. Jennifer Siegenthaler is a true success story and should be applauded for her transformation. She did it the old fashion way with hard work and good nutrition.
