July 15th Set To Release This Winter On DVD And Streaming!!
New short film by Kristian Comer will steal your hearts and make you smile
The third short film by filmmaker Kristian Comer of Rockland NY is set to release this winter on DVD and streaming in both the US and internationally.
The premiere screening for July 15th took place on July 14th at Bow Tie Cinemas in Tenafly NJ. Its currently on the film festival circuit and was selected by The Monkey Bread Tree Film Awards and Virgin Spring Cinefest
July 15th follows widower Stanley Stevenson on his way to celebrate the anniversary of the day he met his deceased wife Clara. Each year he goes back to the same spot, a bench in Washington Square Park, and eats the same sandwich, hot roast beef, he had that day. When he reaches the bench he finds a woman crying and decides to cheer her up. Between a hilarious banter of shared interests of food and love of New York, they develop a strong bond. July 15th deals with the theme of true love and how it is affected by a death. It’s a silent film paying homage to love films that came before it and was completely shot in NYC.
