Nanuet Chamber Sets September Meeting and Programs for the Year

The new Board of the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce was busy over the summer planning their 2014/2015 schedule. They will kick off the year on September 23rd at 7:00 pm with a networking event followed by a discussion with Michael DiTullo, CEO of the Rockland Economic Development Corporation. DiTullo will discuss the “Rockland County -- the “Address for Success” Campaign -- What the REDC does to market the county and attract inward corporate investment. He’ll also discuss the possibilities of Rockland as a world class competitor, where we stand and how the REDC can assist and enhance small business development and growth. Rockland Economic Development Corporation (REDC) focuses on building Rockland’s economy by creating and attracting new businesses and retaining and expanding existing businesses to stimulate job growth as a way of improving the quality of life in Rockland County. Its role is to coordinate the operations of economic development programs and services for business and industry in Rockland County.

The meeting will take place at the Comfort Inn in Nanuet and will include a buffet dinner and complimentary glass of wine or beer for $22 for members paid in advance and $27 for non-members in advance. Membership fee for businesses is $125 and only $25 for residents. All are welcome to attend the monthly meetings which are posted to the Chamber’s website.
