The Nanuet Volleyball team continues to wage a successful campaign this season with yesterday’s five set win against Briarcliff: 25-13, 23-25, 24-26, 25-7, 25-17. The offense was led by senior captain Nia Diaz with 16 kills and 17 digs. Senior captain Sarah Zazyczny added 36 assists and 6 kills. A strong performance was also contributed by junior captain Rebecca Becourtney, with 13 kills and 18 digs. The Lady Knights recently clinched the league 2C title, their first since 2010. Nanuet is undefeated in league play 7-0, with one more league match scheduled for October 20th against Nyack. Their current overall record is 12-2.
