Nanuet To Kick Off Holiday Season With Tree-Lighting

Lots of fun for families including food and music and that special guest, plus a way to give as well as receive.

NANUET, NY — The Nanuet Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce are coordinating their first-ever Tree Lighting event from 4-6:30 p.m. Dec. 7. It'll take place on Orchard Street across from the post office.

The event will include lots of fun for families, including refreshments, music and face painting. There will even be a heated tent for breaks from the cold. Families will be able to take their own pictures with Santa. Several Nanuet High School clubs will be offering items for sale for donations.

And the Chamber members have a way for everyone to give as well as receive this season! Please bring dog toys to donate to Hi-Tor Animal Shelter. Hi-Tor will be on hand, and weather permitting will have one or two dogs available for adoption.
