Nanuet Man Accused Of Riding Dirt Bike On Route 17 At Night

RAMAPO, NY — A Nanuet man accused of operating a dirt bike on Route 17 Monday night without headlights faces charges in Sloatsburg village court.
Ramapo police said they have received many calls regarding ATVs and dirt bikes being operated in a dangerous manner throughout the town.
On Monday, police said they arrested the 23-year-old on Orange Turnpike. He was charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration and issued nine tickets for various moving and equipment violations.

His dirt bike was impounded and he was released on his own recognizance, police said.
