Nanuet School Calendar 2019-20: First Day Of School

NANUET, NY — The first day of school is Sept. 4 in Nanuet — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you'll want to mark the dates on your calendar ASAP.

The Nanuet school district revised its 2019-20 calendar in June.

The calendars include important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for the 2019-20 school year:

• 9/30: No School (Rosh Hashanah)

October

• 10/14: No School (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/5: Election Day/ Staff Development Day
• 11/11: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/27: Half Day
• 11/28-29: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/23-31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/20: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/17-21: No School (Winter Recess)
