Obituary: Dora Ann Cavalluzzi, 52

Dora Ann (née Himmelstein) Cavalluzzi of Nanuet died suddenly on June 23 at age 52.

Cavalluzzi—known as a loving mother, daughter and sister—was happiest when she was with her son, Paul, who survives. She was born on March 31 in the Bronx to Sidney (deceased) and Angelina Himmelstein.

She is also survived by her mother; her siblings Cathi, Angela, Karen, Jeannie, Natasha and Sidney

A devoted mother, daughter, and sister, Dora was happiest when she was with her beloved son, Paul; her brother-in-law Richard Dries; and her nieces and nephews Ally, Emily, Isis, Vincent and Nikolas.

Visiting hours will be held at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The funeral mass is on Thursday at 11 a.m. the Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, 120 Kings Highway in Tappan.
