Rain, Some Wintry Mix: Nanuet's Work Week Weather
Here is what you can expect weather-wise for the week.

NANUET, NY — Let's all enjoy the spring-like weather while we can, especially after the recent brutally cold temperatures. There were reports of temperatures Monday afternoon reaching 60 degrees. The downside for the work week is that there is precipitation in the forecast for almost every other day.
The good thing is that the precip will only be of the frozen variety in a few spots.
There are two storms on the horizon for this week, according to Alex Sosnowski, AccuWeather senior meteorologist, with colder air forecast to return in their wake.

"The first storm, slated to roll through during Wednesday and Wednesday night, will be the weaker of the two and is forecast to bring generally light rain that should not trigger flooding," he said. "However, there will be some wintry precipitation as well."
Expect the wintry mix to be in the usual areas north of I-84 where the nighttime temps will reaching freezing.

The second storm arriving Thursday and lasting into Friday will be stronger with heavier rain, pushing the cold conditions further north so wintry precipitation is not expected to occur in the lower or mid-Hudson Valley.
However, as that storm leaves the area, more seasonal — meaning colder — temperatures will return.
