Rockland Business Women's Network to Host 'Sassy Success Strategies' Workshop

The Rockland Business Women’s Network (RBWN) has a 35 year history of helping women achieve their business goals through various programs and workshops. On Wednesday, October 8th they will host a Sassy Success Strategies Workshop. The event will be a nuts and bolts discussion outlining simple strategies for reselling to existing customers and clients, identifying low hanging fruit for selling new services, and developing a plan for utilizing LinkedIn for expanding opportunities for networking and prospecting. Risa Hoag, President of GMG Public Relations, will lead the discussion. Risa serves as the president of the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce and is a board member of the RBWN. She is also a Certified Inbound Marketing Professional, one of only 1500 individuals worldwide and one of only 200 to receive that distinction with Honors.

The program will be held at the Comfort Inn in Nanuet from noon until 2:00pm. Member and non-members are welcome to attend. Members pay $30 in advance and non-members pay $45 which includes lunch. Registration can also be done at the door. Members of the RBWN span many different industries and are located in Rockland, Orange and Bergen Counties. The Rockland Business Women’s Network (RBWN), established in 1979, supports and empowers women by providing networking and educational opportunities. This non-profit organization focuses on leadership and professional development, building personal and professional relationships and community support through scholarships and training. RBWN is dedicated to women helping women but men are always welcome at the meetings. The RBWN Scholarship Fund, established in 1997, has donated over $33,000 to support local students with college scholarships and training and professional development opportunities for members.
