Rockland Lake Fire Chief Charged With DWI: Report

He was charged after a late-night crash.

NANUET, NY — Rockland Lake Fire Chief Chris Ryan faces a charge of driving while intoxicated after an incident the last weekend in February in Nanuet, News 12 reported.

He was involved in a single-car crash on Grandview Avenue at about 1:30 a.m. Feb. 27, according to the cable news station.

The Clarkstown Police Department would not release information about the incident or the arrest to Patch without a written request under the Freedom of Information Act. Patch has filed a FOI request with the town.
