Q: Why did you start Radio show?
A: I decided to do this show at the urging of others who rightfully suggested that I needed to reach a broader audience n a regular basis.due to my large social media following. The station sales manager asked me one day how many people are in your social network and i counted up all the public and private support groups members i reach everyday and it was over 100,000. I felt motivated at that point to reach out to them as I am trying to not run all over the world like I have been.
Q: Who is the audience you're talking to?
A: I say I can let the audience come to me. This is not meant to slow the personal travel but to enhance the audience interaction and then reach out to those who need me physically. I actually plan to start being compensated for my speeches as volunteering has left me poor LOL. So I will be available to travel even more. The audience for our show is not only the transplant community but the larger patient centered community.
Q: Do you have an upcoming guest line-up? What is it?
A: It seems that most shows are centered around professional advisers and advice. Our show is for patients to share their stories their experiences without judgement.
Q: What can people look forward to when they tune in over the next three months?
A:We emphasize the fact that we are not medical folks we are just the patients in the bed as we call it.. IT'S THE PATIENTS VOICE FROM THE PATIENTS MOUTHS. We invite our audience to call in (845) 429-1700.
