Sandra Siegel Lost Eight Pounds In 21 Days At Peak Physique
Sandra Siegel talks about her weight loss journey.

Nanuet, N.Y. (August 19th, 2019) – Sandra Siegel gained about thirty pounds when her father died five years ago. "The problem came with being a caretaker for my mother and cooking fattening foods, eating out or ordering take outs. The pounds slowly crept up on me. Since at that time, my job was mainly sitting behind a computer, I was not very active and under a lot of stress. Plus, I had a shoulder injury and was unable to do any exercise for approximately eight months. I was so unhappy with the weight gain and seemed unable to do anything about it. " said Sandra Siegel.

1) Why did you choose Peak Physique Personal Training, Bootcamp and Boxing?
Find out what's happening in Nanuetfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
I kept seeing ads for Peak Physique and finally decided to try the 21 days for $21.00. I was not sure that I could do the boot camp because I have not really been exercising and had limitations due to my past shoulder injury.
2) How many pounds did you lose so far? How long did it take?
Find out what's happening in Nanuetfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
I lost eight pounds in the first 21 days.
3) How did Peak Physique help you meet your weight loss goal?
Peak Physique kept me accountable for both exercising and not making excuses not to go, except when I had clients that was unavoidable. They also helped me with plans on how to eat right and nutritiously.
4) How often did you work out at Peak Physique?
I try to work out minimum three times a week.
5) What is your favorite form of exercise to do and why?
I like doing the boot camp. While there are some things I cannot do because of my limitations, the coaches make modifications fun and not boring. I still am able to get the same work out others get in a different way.
6) Have you had to deal with any injuries along the way?
No injuries while working out... Just the past injury to my shoulder that has me doing modifications to some work outs, such as planks and weights.
7) What did you change in your diet?
The biggest changes in my diet are drinking more water with adding protein powder or tea, and eliminating sugar for the most part. I had lost most of the weight I had gained when my father died before I joined Peak Physique but I had stubborn pounds that were not going down and following some of their suggestions has helped.
8) How did you manage to integrate this healthy lifestyle into your life?
This has been a challenge. I have been able to integrate the water drinking and healthy food eating when I am working from home. When I go to clients or other appointments, it has been hard and I am still working on especially drinking the amount of water I should be drinking to stay hydrated. I try to take healthy snacks with me also, so that I can have something to eat if I am hungry when out. I try to avoid going to places that make me want to eat things I know are not healthy.
9) What is the biggest struggle: food, exercise, temptation?
My biggest struggle is when I am stressed. I want sugar or sugar and salt. Sometimes I give into my cravings and hate myself for doing that.
10) What motivates you to continue with this lifestyle?
My motivation is to stay at least at the current weight I am and not gain it back. I would like to lose more so if I cheat, I make sure I do not do so again and drink a lot of extra water. I also want to have my body more toned.
11) What are your goals for the future?
My goals for the future are to continue to exercise whether it be at the gym or at home. I have clients that sometimes make it impossible to go to the gym, but I plan to use what I have learned to make sure that I continue to exercise and try to still eat healthy.
12) What is your best piece of advice for those just starting their weight loss journey?
The best advice that I can give anyone starting on their weight loss journey is to make it adaptable to your lifestyle. Make sure that you can do it and set reasonable goals. Do not compare yourself to others and if you gain a pound or two back, you can lose it again too. You will get to where you want to be, but it may take longer then you wanted. Don’t give up. You will get to where you want to go and sometimes what works for one person does not work for another person.

I am so excited to finally meet my weight loss goals with the help of Steve and Eva Eckert, and the awesome coaches here.
