Shocking Overnight Temps: Nanuet's Weekend Weather

NANUET, NY — Lows drop into the mid-50s Friday night. That'll be a shock to the system! Then we'll get a partly cloudy day or so before storms hit us again.

"The weather does improve a bit for the weekend, things should dry out," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather on Facebook.

"The models have very little agreement on where the hurricane is going to go," Potter said, noting "fear-mongering" in several media outlets despite the fact that it's almost seven days away. "The storm does need to be monitored," he said.

  • Saturday-Mostly cloudy in the morning, then becoming partly sunny. Highs in the lower 70s. North winds 5 to 10 mph.
  • Saturday Night-Partly cloudy in the evening, then mostly cloudy with a slight chance of rain after midnight. Lows in the mid 50s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
  • Sunday-Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain. Highs in the mid 60s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
  • Sunday Night-Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of rain. Lows in the upper 50s.
