Storm To Sun: Nanuet's Work Week Weather

Here's the latest on what weather we're going to get when.

NANUET, NY — Still a storm, what's left of Florence kicks off the Hudson Valley's work week. It will be moving at a faster pace, and it will be dumping much less rain than when it hit the Caroline coast as a hurricane.

“However, even 1-3 inches of rain can bring more flooding concerns since streams and creeks throughout the region are still running high,” said AccuWeather Meteorologist Kyle Elliott.

Tuesday there's a possibility of flash flooding in the mid-Hudson and a lower chance in the lower valley.

After that, we'll have mostly sunny skies and refreshing temperatures in the 70s. Look for Thursday to be the coolest and Friday to be the hottest, a continuation of the swing between extremes we've seen all summer.
