Understanding Communications Differences Between Men & Women

The Rockland Business Women’s Network (RBWN) welcomes Tara Gilvar to its February education luncheon program. Her presentation, Understanding Communication Differences Between Men and Women, will help attendees:
• Identify how social behavior impacts how men and women communicate differently
• Learn how biology impacts the differences in the ways men and women utilize talk
• Utilize tools to improve communication with the different genders both at home and in the workplace

(Believe, Inspire, Grow), a business support, education and networking organization for women. To date, B.I.G. has had more than 2,200 members in more than 50+ communities in five states (including 27 in New Jersey). It is a concept that Tara has been driven to share with women around the country.

The Rockland Business Women’s Network (RBWN), established in 1979, supports and empowers women by providing networking and educational opportunities. This non-profit organization focuses on leadership and professional development, building personal and professional relationships and community support through scholarships and training. RBWN is dedicated to women helping women but men are always welcome at the meetings. The RBWN Scholarship Fund, established in 1997, has donated over $33,000 to support local students with college scholarships and training and professional development opportunities for members.
