Understanding Communications Differences Between Men & Women

The Rockland Business Women’s Network (RBWN) welcomes Tara Gilvar to its February education luncheon program. Her presentation, Understanding Communication Differences Between Men and Women, will help attendees:
• Identify how social behavior impacts how men and women communicate differently
• Learn how biology impacts the differences in the ways men and women utilize talk
• Utilize tools to improve communication with the different genders both at home and in the workplace

A graduate of Boston College, Tara began her professional career building brands and developing marketing campaigns for national consumer companies including, Sylvania Lighting, Eddie Bauer and The Timberland Company.

In September 2009, with the support of her business partner Rebecca Hull, they officially launched B.I.G. (Believe, Inspire, Grow), a business support, education and networking organization for women. To date, B.I.G. has had more than 2,200 members in more than 50+ communities in five states (including 27 in New Jersey).
