NANUET, NY — A 25-year-old driving a Ford Mustang that plunged off the Route 304 overpass onto Route 59 Sunday has been identified by Clarkstown police.
According to a preliminary investigation, Rockland County resident Michael Magee had been traveling north in the southbound lanes on Route 304 for more than two miles, police said.
At about 3:45 a.m., the Mustang went over a guardrail and fell onto the eastbound lanes of Route 59, killing Magee.

The accident is still being probed by the Clarkstown Police Accident Investigation Team and no contributing factors have been definitively determined, said Det. Norman Peters.
"We are saddened to have to report on yet another deadly vehicle accident here in Rockland County, our heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of Mr. Magee," Peters said.
