Katherine "Kay" Ryan (nee Clarke) passed away August 31, 2016 in her home in Nanuet, NY at the age of 85. She was born September 17, 1930 in the Bronx to Susan and Andrew Clarke of county Cavan, Ireland. She attended St. Luke's Elementary and Walton High School. She graduated from St. Pius Commercial School and worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and later became a home care LPN.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, William, her sister Susan Hickey, her brothers Terrance, Andrew, Thomas, and Vincent Clarke, her sons Charles (Lisa), Andrew (Joan), and William (Alissa) Ryan, and daughter Margaret Krasinski (Ray). She was also a loving nana to her 9 grandchildren; Deirdre, Katherine, Sean, Joshua, Andrew, Angela, Siobhan, Marlee, and Sienna. She is predeceased by her dear brother Patrick.

She will be forever in our hearts.

Visiting will be held at Higgins Funeral Home in New City on Sunday, September 4 from 7-9pm and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 6 at 10am at St. Anthony's Parish in Nanuet, followed by interment at St. Anthony's Cemetery.
