Visiting Hours are April 9 for Joseph Diana

Joseph Diana, age 83, of Nanuet passed away Monday evening April 6 in the company of family.

He was born September 13, 1931 in Tunisia to the late Mario and Maria (Greco). Immigrating to the United States in 1960, he became a naturalized citizen in 1972.

Joseph worked as a dental technician, owning and operating his own business, Diana Dental Studio, until his retirement in 1996. He was an avid gardener and enthusiastic cook.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Rita Diana, nee Barry, his sons Mario, Marc, and Eric, and his daughter-in-law Kathleen. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Vanessa, William, and Victoria, who brought their grandfather great joy, and was a loving Uncle to Andre, Monique, and Anthony. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Italy and France.

Visitation will be Thursday April 9 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at The Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home in West Nyack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday April 10 at 10am at St. Anthony’s Church in Nanuet. Burial will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
