WCFR Seventh Anniversary & Fundraising Gala Honoree - VHFF

The WCFR Seventh Anniversary & Gala will be held on October 6th, 2018 from 6-10pm at the Time Nyack in Nyack, NY.

Nyack, N.Y. (May 17, 2018) – Join Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 for their Seventh Anniversary and Fundraising Gala. The gala will bring together like-minded individuals and businesses who share the same belief that education and training can help save lives, while celebrating the organization's accomplishments and honoring their lifesaving partners. The event, from 6-10 pm, will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at The Time Nyack, a new, hip, and upscale 133-room boutique lifestyle hotel, where those coming to Nyack, NY can stay in comfort. Attendees can expect a cocktail hour, live entertainment, and fine dining from BV's Grill.


Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. proudly announces one of its Seventh Anniversary and Fundraising Gala Honorees: Vincent HoSang Family Foundation. WCFR is extremely grateful for VHFF. The organization has donated funds to WCFR and supported the WCFR Heart Project events.


The Vincent HoSang Family Foundation
Vincent and Jeanette HoSang grew up under the guiding principles of ‘caring and sharing’ and how significant it is to extend a helping hand. Together, they co-founded the Vincent HoSang Family Foundation (VHFF), in 2004.
The VHFF is a 501 (c) (3) organization built on a giving philosophy, deeply rooted in changing lives. The VHFF’s mission is limitless as it strives to break down challenges and focus on opportunities that will over time bring about normalcy to the underserved. Its philanthropic investments have directly impacted individuals and organizations in our local communities and the Caribbean.
Some of the VHFF’s esteemed charities include a mobile health clinic to the Organization of International Development (OID); education scholarships to both the Lehman College Foundation and the University of the West Indies (UWI), The Vincent HoSang Business Venture Program at the UWI, the Team Jamaica Bickle/Penn Relays Nutrition and Feeding Program, The Jamaica LINAC Machines Project Initiative, The Jamaica Ebola Prevention Program, Jawanio, Rockland Community Foundation, Rockland County’s largest food pantry, People to People, Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. among others.
The VHFF has awarded approximately US$3.5 million to numerous charities designed to assist the most vulnerable in our local communities and the Caribbean.

Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. was founded in September 2011 with a mission "to prevent deaths worldwide through education and training". Their programs have proven to empower individuals in their own community and save lives. WCFR has educated and trained over 300,000 people worldwide. All funds raised at the gala will support their programs that save lives.
