The WCFR Sixth Anniversary & Fundraising Gala will be held on September 30th, 2017 from 6-10 pm at The Time Nyack in Nyack, NY.
Nyack, N.Y. (May 31, 2017) – Join Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. on Saturday, September 30, 2017 for their Sixth Anniversary and Fundraising Gala. The gala will bring together like-minded individuals and businesses who share the same belief that education and training can help save lives, while celebrating the organization’s accomplishments and honoring their lifesaving partners. The event, from 6-10 pm, will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at The Time Nyack, a new, hip, and upscale 133-room boutique lifestyle hotel, where those coming to Nyack, NY can stay in comfort. Attendees can expect a cocktail hour with open bar, live entertainment, and fine dining from BV’s Grill.

In 2015, Mike Snow presented the first Safe Community Award by Volunteer New York to WCFR Founder & President, Jacqueline Cassagnol, MSN, RN, PMC sponsored by Bunge Limited.
Mike Snow is the Senior Director for Global Safety at Bunge Limited. He partners with company executives, industrial and non-industrial leaders, and workers to create a zero-incident safety culture and drive fatal and life-altering injuries to zero.

Mike brings three decades of experience in industrial operations and personnel and process safety to the position, which was created in June 2014. He leads a global safety team in developing and executing a corporate safety strategy that promotes incident prevention through proactive exposure recognition and control and includes a dedicated safety communications system with training, tools and information in 22 languages. Mike has a true passion for people and travels to Bunge facilities and offices worldwide to inspire leaders and workers to take personal ownership of their own safety and that of others.
Today safety engagement at Bunge is at an all-time high. Near-miss and exposure reporting is on the rise, and lost-time incidents, including those with fatal and life-altering consequence, have been reduced significantly.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Worldwide Community First Responder, Inc. was founded in September 2011 with a mission “to prevent deaths worldwide through education and training”. Their programs have proven to empower individuals in their own community and save lives. WCFR has educated and trained over 250,000 people worldwide. All funds raised at the gala will support their programs that save lives.
