Wet, Dry, Wet, Dry: Nanuet's Work Week Weather

NANUET, NY — A high-pressure system flowing down from Canada is to be thanked for lower temps and lower humidity Monday and Tuesday. But.

Late Tuesday into Wednesday, expect more humid conditions and a steadily increasing chance of rain. Plus higher temps, more humidity, and possible thunderstorms will be possible as well.

• Tonight-Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of light rain and drizzle in the evening. Lows in the lower 60s. East winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
• Tuesday-Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of showers in the morning, then a chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 70s. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.
• Tuesday Night-Showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms. Humid with lows in the upper 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.
• Wednesday-Mostly cloudy in the morning, then becoming partly sunny. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Humid with highs in the lower 80s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming west with gusts up to 20 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 40 percent.
