NEW YORK CITY — Home prices tripled about tripled in Cobble Hill and Greenpoint this past decade, according to a new real estate analysis.

Median recorded sales prices rose about 200 percent in the two Brooklyn neighborhoods between 2010 and 2019, according to a StreetEasy report.

Cobble Hill and Greenpoint top a list of ten neighborhoods — eight of which are in Brooklyn — that saw home prices more than double over the past ten years.

The median Cobble Hill home sold for $834,115 in 2010 and $2,591,446 in 2019, which made it the fourth-most expensive neighborhood in the city.

Greenpoint median prices increased 192 percent from $539,446 in 2010 to $1,578,287 in 2019, according to the analysis.

Citywide prices jumped 50 percent since 2010 with a 38 percent increase in The Bronx, 37 percent increase on Staten Island and a 30 percent increase in Queens, according to the analysis.

The median recorded sales price in Brooklyn as of fall 2019 was $784,526 and $1,105,000 in Manhattan, StreetEasy reports.
