NYC Is Place People Want To Flee Most
Hundreds of people are moving out of the city every single day.

NEW YORK – More people are fleeing New York City than any other metropolitan area in the United States, shocking figures reveal.
An amazing 277 city dwellers call it quits and move out of the city every single day, according to a study on the 100 most densely populated areas carried out by Bloomberg News.
That's more than double the amount that was leaving NYC a year earlier.

The study was based on data gathered in the 2018 Census.
Los Angeles and Chicago followed NYC when it came to the numbers of people leaving, with 201 and 161-a-day respectively.

But while the city experienced a massive exodus, it also saw a steady flow of international migrants heading in. Between July 2017 and July 2018, 200,000 people moved out of NYC, but 100,000 international migrants arrived, the study found.
That made the city most attractive in the U.S. for people moving into the country.
The study also suggested where the former New Yorkers might be going. It found seven cities were growing by more than 100 new residents every day: Dallas, Phoenix, Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Austin.
