4 Rockland Boys Help Baseball Team to National Championship

They won in the 11-and under tournament, which was played in Georgia July 19-21.

Baseball team BC Phenom out of Bergen County NJ won the Perfect Game Super25 11u National Championship in Marietta GA yesterday with the help of four boys from Rockland County.

“Those Northern boys sure can play some ball,” wrote Jordan Posway in a recap of the championship game on the Perfect Game website. ”The BC Phenom represented Glenrock, New Jersey, well in their 15-7 championship game victory over the Dallas Texans-Lowe. The Phenom showed resilience as they overcame a four-run deficit to become the undisputed 2015 PG Super25 11u National Champions!”

  • Liam Lombardi #44 Outfield/First base/Pitcher - Stony Point
  • Christopher Campanella #39 Pitcher/Outfield - Congers
  • Logan Maher #7 Second Base -Stony Point
  • Nicholas Martinez #99 Third base/Pitcher/First base -Stony Point

Liam was also named the tournament’s MVP.


This is the quartet’s third National Championship in a row as a core 4 but their first with BC Phenom, as they were with a different team for the previous two national championships.

The team’s 2015 record is 65-11.
