Blauvelt Sons of Italy to host first Online Charity Auction October 2, 2014, Signed Chagall Print to be one of the Highlights of the Auction

In conjunction with their annual Golf Outing, the Blauvelt Sons of Italy announce their first online Charity Auction, hosted by eBay Giving Works. The online auction will begin October 2 at 4 p.m. and end October 12 at 4 p.m., on the secure auction site www.ebay.com/SonsofItalyBlauvelt.

A wide range of items are being auctioned, including football tickets, golf equipment, artwork, dining and catering gift certificates, local business services and experience packages. High profile items feature a 42” Flat Screen television, a Hot Air Balloon Ride and Caribbean Vacation packages. Many of the items being auctioned were generously donated by area businesses. A highlight of the auction will be a signed and framed Chagal print. To place bids, visit www.ebay.com/SonsofItalyBlauvelt.

100% of the proceeds will benefit the charity causes supported by the Sons of Italy. The organization has a long association with the Cooley’s Anemia Foundation as well as the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Most recently they have been strong supporters of the Rockland Home for Heroes Project and in addition to financial support, members donate their time, talent and labor to provide housing for displaced and disabled honorable veterans. Another primary fundraising goal is to provide scholarships to the youth of the community, helping them achieve their educational goals.
