Rockland Boulders RHP Kevin Fuqua has been named this week’s CanAm League Pitcher of the Week.
Fuqua recorded three saves and one win out of Rockland’s bullpen this week. The right-hander appeared five times, pitching a total of 4.2 innings. In those 4.2 innings, Fuqua surrendered one earned run and five hits, while striking out five. Those numbers helped Fuqua drop his ERA to 3.06 and his nine saves on the season currently lead the league.
He also becomes the third Boulder to take Pitcher honors this season, joining Pat Moran and Bobby Blevins. Chris Edmondson has also previously taken the league's Hitter of the Week award.
