CCSD Executive Director of Pupil Services Retires

Arnold J. Fucci has retired after nearly four decades of service.

From Clarkstown Central School District: It is always bittersweet when a coworker moves on, and this spring is no different in Clarkstown. Executive Director of Pupil Personnel Services,

Mr. Arnold Fucci, has retired after an outstanding 39 year career educating and serving students, 24 of these years spent in Clarkstown.

His work in schools began in 1978 when he started as a Special Education teacher in the New York City Public Schools. In the decades to follow, he held numerous positions all centered around working with the students with unique challenges. Whether speaking with co-workers, parents or students, you hear the same glowing remarks of a man devoted to and passionate about creating opportunities for every student and bringing people together to ensure the best outcomes for the youth of the next generation.

Arnold shows this same care and love for his family and friends, enjoying family vacations, cooking and large get togethers. It is with great excitement that we wish him the best during his retirement years. But there is no doubt that he will be missed here in Clarkstown.

We are very grateful to Mr. Fucci’s work as a teacher, a school leader and an advocate for students. His service is respected, admired and appreciated by those around him and the many lives he has touched. We hope that the years ahead bring him much joy and the opportunity to pursue all that his heart desires.

All the best,
